The Auditorium of Ruwanpura National College of Education was abuzz with excitement on the 9th of December 2024 as the college celebrated its annual English Day under the enchanting theme, “Enchanted.”

The program began at 1:30 PM, bringing together a vibrant mix of creativity and talent. The event was skillfully guided by the in-charge lecturers, Miss D.M.C.D. Dissanayaka and Mrs. H.L.B.P. Chandrasekara, under the supervision of Madam President Mrs A.H.T. Thakshila Jayamini, who played an instrumental role in its success.

This spectacular celebration was organized by the 1st-year prospective teachers with support from the 2nd-year prospective teachers. The program featured an array of captivating events, including dramas, songs, and dances, all performed with exceptional enthusiasm and creativity.

The event witnessed active participation from all the lecturers, 1st-year, and 2nd-year prospective teachers, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and appreciation for the English language.

The English Day not only showcased the immense talent of the prospective teachers but also served as a platform to celebrate the beauty and richness of the English language. It was a truly “Enchanted” day to remember!
